What do I need in order to be eligible to rent an exotic car?
Preferred Exotics requirements must be met in order for approval for an exotic car rental.
- Valid Driver's License - A necessity for renting an exotic car is possessing a valid driver's license and not expired. International drivers will have to provide a passport and foreign drivers license.
- Full Coverage Insurance - Preferred Exotics mandates that renters provide evidence of comprehensive and collision full coverage policy. Providing insurance to rent an exotic car is an absolute necessity. Contact Preferred Exotics directly to verify the requirements.
- Security Deposit - When you opt to rent an exotic car, you'll need to provide a security deposit. The exact amount can vary depending on the vehicle or how long you plan to rent it. This deposit is temporarily held on your credit card during the rental period. Once you return the vehicle, the deposit is reimbursed to you, provided there are no damages or extra fees.
- Age Requirement - The minimum age to rent an exotic car is 25 years old. However for an additional fee with qualifying insurance we accept a minimum 21 years old.
- Payment method - Preferred Exotics accepts major credit cards, zelle, venmo and cash for rental payments. However the security deposit must always be held on a credit card.
Is it necessary to have insurance when renting an exotic car?
Preferred Exotics does require all clients to show evidence of full coverage insurance with comprehensive and collision coverage that remains valid throughout the rental period. Reach out to your personal insurance company and verify whether the policy extends to the exotic car rental. Make sure to clarify the specifics of your coverage, such as deductible and any restrictions.
What is the price for renting an exotic car?
The pricing of renting an exotic car can vary with Preferred Exotics. The cost is influenced by different factors such as the specific car model, how long you plan to rent it, location of the rental and the level of demand during certain times of the year. To get the most accurate and precise up-to-date pricing contact Preferred Exotics directly. Do note that exotic car rentals have a higher pricing than standard rentals. If you plan to rent the exotic car for a longer period of time you qualify for discounts.
Is there a minimum age requirement to rent an exotic car with Preferred Exotics?
The minimum age for an exotic car rental with Preferred Exotics is 25 years old. However if you’re under 25 years old you can contact Preferred Exotics directly for further information.
Do I need to provide a security deposit for the exotic car rental?
Yes, all renters are required to provide a security deposit via credit card pre-authorization. The amount of the security deposit will vary depending on the vehicle you choose, place of residency, All security deposits will be held throughout the rental period once the exotic car is picked up or returned our staff will check the vehicle. As long as there are no damages or fees to cover we will refund the deposit instantly.
Do exotic car rentals come with any mileage restriction?
Preferred Exotics does provide mileage restrictions but can vary contingent on the vehicle you choose and the terms on the rental agreement. These limitations are set in place in order to safeguard the vehicle’s value over time. Typically the rental agreement comes with 100 complimentary miles per day of rental. Essentially if you surpass the mileage restriction you will be charged a set amount per mile extra. In some cases we do provide unlimited mileage options for certain vehicles. Am I allowed to take the rented exotic car out of state?
Driving a rented exotic car out of state is not allowed. Preferred Exotics has restrictions limiting your driving to Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. However exceptions can be made only within the state if information is provided prior. You should only operate the exotic car within the allowed areas. If you drive the car outside of the restricted areas you violate the terms and conditions and additional fees could be imposed.
