How Old Do You Have to Be to Rent a Lamborghini in Miami?

The short answer is 25 for most of the fleet — here's what changes for 23 and 24-year-old renters, and what to bring to delivery.

The short answer

25, for most of the fleet. That's not an arbitrary number — it's where insurance underwriting for six and seven-figure vehicles starts to pencil out. Below 25, the actuarial risk on a car like a Huracán STO climbs fast enough that most insurers simply won't write the policy at any price, exotic rental company or not.

What changes at 23 or 24

A small number of vehicles in the fleet are bookable at 23 or 24 with an underage-driver fee added to the daily rate. This isn't every car — the higher-performance, lower-volume vehicles (think the STO, the GT3 RS) tend to stay at 25-and-up, while more common performance cars have more flexibility. The fee and eligibility vary by vehicle, so it's worth calling the concierge line with the specific car in mind rather than assuming either way.

What to bring to delivery

A driver's license held for at least two years, matching photo ID, and a major credit card in the renter's name for the security deposit. The card doesn't need to be the only form of payment, but it has to belong to whoever's listed as the driver — a friend's card won't clear the reservation.

If you're renting for someone else

It happens often — a birthday gift, a surprise for a partner. The vehicle still has to be reserved and picked up by the person actually driving it, with their own license and card present at delivery. Call ahead if you're coordinating a surprise; the concierge line can usually work out the logistics without spoiling it.
